Welcome... to the website of the Columbiana County recorder. Whether you are a real estate professional performing a title search or an amateur genealogist looking for the old family farm, I hope this site will be a helpful virtual introduction to the Columbiana County recorder’s office.
The county recorder's most important responsibility is to protect and preserve documents on record. Most documents filed in the recorder’s office pertain to the ownership and conveyance of property. At the recorder’s office we keep and maintain records such as deeds, mortgages, easements, military discharge paperwork, and other documents important to commerce.
After visiting our website, we hope you will make the decision to visit the historic Columbiana County courthouse. At the courthouse, you can have the opportunity to search our archives. Please note that all documents received by our office are immediately recorded and available for search. After undergoing quality control measures, documents are then promptly returned to submitters.
Once again thank you for visiting the website of the Columbiana County recorder. If you have any questions, please check out our frequently asked questions page (FAQ) or if I may be of service, please feel free to contact us at 330-424-9517 or by my email JArmeni@ccclerk.org.
Updates: We are now offering plat copies. You can get a copy of various plats or Historical maps from our office! Sizes include 8 x 11 up to 36 x 80. The cost is $2-$5 depending on the type of paper you wish to have the plat copied onto.
